It looks like T-Series forgot to take down some songs of Pakistani artists from their YouTube Channel

Tuesday 19th February 2019

India based record label T-Series has recently unlisted some latest songs of artists from Pakistan amid tensions between the two countries following a terror attack in Occupied Kashmir's Pulwama district.

The decision was taken by T-Series after a far right political party, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), pressurised record labels and music companies to stop working with Pakistani singers.

"We have verbally communicated to Indian music companies like T-Series, Sony Music, Venus, Tips Music etc to not work with Pakistani singers. These companies should stop it immediately or we will take action in our own style," said MNS Chitrapat Sena head Amey Khopkar.

Atif Aslam's latest song 'Baarishein' has been taken off the YouTube channel. Unlisting a video from T-Series essentially means it will not come up in search results but those that already had the direct link can view it.

We had a good look at T-Series' YouTube channel and found that the following videos were still searchable. Did T-Series purposely leave this on or just forgot to take them down?

The best of Atif Aslam - Top 10 Bollywood songs

O Saathi Lyrical Video - Baaghi 2

Tumhe Dillagi By Rahat Fateh Ali Khan

Darasal - by Atif Aslam from the movie Raabta

Atif Aslam - Pehli Dafa

Mere Rashke Qamar - Rahat Fateh Ali Khan

Atif A: Dekhte Dekhte from Batti Gul Meter Chalu

From what it seems like, T-Series is trying to keep happy the far right by removing the latest songs which are more noticeable by viewers. This is contrary to what most news headlines are stating that a blanket ban has been imposed and all music has been removed.
